In musicianspeak, it’s why so much of the coolest gear has tubes. So modeling the non-linearities of tubes, speakers, spring reverbs, power amps, and the like, was the natural musical path to follow.
The end result of those studies was a significant body of proprietary, patented technology, and the subsequent formation of Softube. Since its founding in 2003, the Softube team has worked behind the scenes developing products for a number of highly-respected companies. Now they’re delivering a series of high-end, high-quality plug-ins under the Softube brand.
